Y.Habitat is an innovative, residential concept at an urban scale - a modular hybrid residential complex for young people aged 18-35, with a deep sense of social responsibility. This new concept, offers a solution for affordable housing in the center of major Israeli cities, while offering a chance to reduce the high cost of living. The construction is light and prefabricated, in order to lower the construction's cost and time. The complex contains various apartment types, which ranges from one bedroom apartments to three  bedroom apartments, in different and space- efficient layouts. Due to our vision that there's a great importance to the tenants' involvement in the complex, it's decided that the tenants will take an active role in the maintenance and operation, thus “justifying” their participation in the project. The complex will be designed in a smart and efficient way that takes into account the climatic conditions in the area, and enables as many air-ways as possible, recycling and using gray water, and giving the chance to its tenants to enjoy their own small gardens, which will be  built throughout the floors and apartments.
